MVPC's Mexico Trip 2016

Two hundred and thirty-five students and adults from California's Lamorinda area spent one week of their vacation time in Mexico and built houses for poor families in Shanty Towns near Tijuana. This trip was organized by Moraga Valley Presbyterian Church together with Amor Ministries. The 2016 trip is the 26th anniversary of MVPC’s trips to Mexico. Thirteen adult/student teams built 13 houses, each house with a concrete foundation of 22 x 11 feet and 2 rooms. The impact of these activities on students, adults and the local families were documented by a team of 10 students and adults. A collection of photos and videos, recorded and produced by the media team (The Orange Team), is available here.
