MVPC's Mexico Trip 2015

Two hundred and seventy-five students and adults from California's Lamorinda area spent one week of their vacation time in Mexico and built houses for poor families in Shanty Towns near Tijuana. This trip was organized by Moraga Valley Presbyterian Church together with Amor Ministries. The 2015 trip is the 25th anniversary of MVPC's house-building trips to Mexico. Thirteen adult/student teams built 13 houses, each house having a concrete foundation of 22 x 11 feet and 2 rooms. The impact of these activities on students, adults and the local families were documented by a team of 8 students and adults. A collection of photos and videos, recorded and produced by the media team, is available here.
